The whole same-sex marriage thing is making me so excited! Today the mayor of a small town in New York, New Paltz, decided to start marrying same-gender couples. I hope this is a trend that catches on. It's legislated civil disobedience.

Keep pushing everyone, on asking for a clear distinction between a "civil union" and a "legal marriage" which is not based in either religion or prejudice against same-gender couples.
